Ready to eat and one of the Pacific Northwest's most popular seafood, our Whole Cooked Dungeness Crab is custom prepared for your order. After receiving your order we select "just-cooked" crab for shipment. We will back and clean the crab prior to shipping so it is completely ready to eat upon arrival. Plan a crab feed for family and friends (Available December through August). Use fresh refrigerated crab within three days or wrap well and freeze up to three months.
The body meat may be shaken out of the crab by breaking the crab in half, crushing the shell, and knocking it against the edge of a bowl. Use a small pick or fork to remove bits of meat from the shell. Break off the legs. Pull out the small pincer claws, hold the legs curved side down, strike sharply to break the shell, extract the meat with the pincer claw. Pliers may be used to crush the leg shell. Dip crab meat in red cocktail sauce or melted butter, if desired.
